Even one hundred recitations per day without interruption will make you attractive to others, and food, wealth and enjoyments will appear effortlessly. Otherwise, carve it on hillsides, trees, and stones; after they are consecrated, anyone who merely passes by and sees them will be purified of illness, spirit possession, and obscurations. Spirits and demons dwelling in the area will offer wealth and riches. Write it in gold on pieces of indigo paper and hang them up; demons, obstacle-makers, and evil spirits will be unable to harm you. If you place the mantra upon a corpse immediately upon death and do not remove it, during cremation rainbow colors will flash out and the consciousness will definitely be transferred to the Blissful Realm of Amitabha. Pra Ngang Pra Ngang is the commonly known name for an amulet which has carried mystery and left people with unanswered questions for generations. The information available in literature and the internet is almost non existent, and very few people including some of the Masters who make Pra Ngang amulets, know the truth about the origins, nature, and method of worship for this Deity. How to Worship the Pra Ngang Deity Once you have recieved your Ngang statue or amulet, you must find a place for him to reside in within your home. But do not raise him up on the ‘Hing Pra’ (a high small altar on the wall used in Thailand for Buddha images) or the Bucha table (altar). You can make a small altar on a lower position and slightly away from the Buddha. He can also be given the drawer for ladies underwear in the bedroom to live in, because he likes it. One common practice is to take the underwear of a Lady which has been worn and not washed, and use it to wrap him in them as a blanket or covering. You must give him fresh water every day in a glass, and when you change the water, do not fill the half full cup mixing it with the old water. You must take the used water and thorw it in front of the house, and then wash the glass or goblet and only then refill it with fresh water. It must be pure water (meaning that no one must have touched it before, or drank from that container). It is perhaps advisable to have fresh mineral water in his own personal bottle which you can use for him and nobody else. Offer him in the evenings befor sleeping, but you must also bathe and clean your body first. Offerings Offer the Ngang fruits or sweets and cakes is a fine offering for the Ngang. On Buddhist Holy days, you must arrange 5 sticks of incense, One pair of white candles, flowers and ‘Krueang Sen’ (traditional offerings) and offer them to the Ngang.Any kind of flower is fine except for Lotus flower, which is forbidden to offer to the Pra Ngang. if you are poor and cant afford to give foods, then simply offer the glass of water. You must not leave him without water. Water cannot be overlooked. For a more complete offering, 5 sets of betel and areca nut for chewing and two cigarettes is traditional. If you are in Malaysia or Singapore, you can get Betel nut and areca from the Indian or Tamil Hindu stores to offer the Ngang. Taking the Ngang amulet with you It is forbidden to wear the Ngang around your neck like a Buddha amulet. It can be carried in your trouser pocket. When you are going to look for Ladies, or to get someone to help you, you must carry the Ngang in your front trouser pocket. If it is in the back pocket, you will fail to seduce the Lady, because they are facing the opposite ways. If you are trying to escape somebody, or are in danger, then you must carry the Ngang in your pocket. The Ngang will keep you safe from harms way. When you are going to have sex with a woman, you must let the Ngang go first. You do this by rubbing against the ladies private parts with the Ngang in your trousers until she is excited, and some of her fluids or aromas can rub against the Ngang’s body. Once you have done this, then you can have your way with her. This is his reward for allowing you to seduce her to the point where she will let you approach. Further Info The Pra Ngang is a very mysterious and elusive legend which spreads out into various appearances and uses, differing from region to region and varying Bucha Methods depending on the Makers rules or the beliefs of that particular regional culture. It is believed that the Pra Ngang is an ancient Wichja from the Khmer Kingdom. The Pra Ngang classic image often seen with the Crown on the head is actually not a Ngang, (or at least was originally not used for Ngang, but then became mixed up with the Ngang and eventually used in the same way. This particular Deity is actually an Ayuttaya periodic style Buddha image of a Buddha meditating in the forest. Some people believe that the Pra Ngang is actually a real creature, useful for improving your fate, Karma and destiny, and to ward off evil, which has great Maha sanaeh power too. This particular school of thought believes that it is not good to keep the Ngang in your house, because it will cause a lot of arguments and strife in the Family household (because of woman problems). When asked about this. Spencer littlewood says that he believes that there are various different entities which have all been classified as a Ngang. Some are entities which can live in the house, and others are not. Some practitoners and devotees of the Ngang will urinate on their amulet in the belief that it increases its power of attraction and seduction. it is said that the Ngang likes menstruation fluid, and that you should not be surprised if your amulet disappears often in the house, and then it turns up again inside some underwear or clothes which have been worn by a lady. Many stories of this happening have been heard, so be prepared for this if it does.

Then request with your own language for his help, say "I, a humble one, invite the Lord Buddha and Luang Phor..... [name(s)] to sit on my head to protect me all day long and bring me a good luck, a victory, and a fulfilment of all my wishes." Then say " BudDhang PraSitThiMae DhamMang PraSitThiMae Sangkhang PraSitThiMae." (sound) The meaning of this Mantra is-may Lord Buddha, Dhamma and Sangkha or Triple Gems bless all my request successful. And then wear the chain of amulets onto your neck. What do we have to do if we want to take the chain of amulets out off our neck? Just take it out off your neck and put all amulets in your hands. Join your hands together, say thanks to the Lord and Luang Phor(s) that protect us and let us come back home safely. Then bring them onto a high place. Any restriction when wearing Thai Buddhistic amulets? Yes, there are some restrictions: -Don't bring amulets with you when you go to the low and improper place such as a brothel. -Don't wear amulets when doing sexual activities. -Don't go underneath the improper things such as the lady's skirt or someone's shoes, except you are on the inevitably compulsory environment such as going under a bridge or working in a skyscraper, etc. Where is the place to park my amulets? Put on a shelf, altar or any high place. Do not put them on the top of your bed, except you are single or sleep alone. If you want to keep them in your bed room, please put them in a higher drawer. Is it true that the Buddha amulet can protect firearms? Yes it is. But it also depends on the quality of your mind. The late Luang Phor Ngern of Wat Don Yai Hom, Nakorn Pathom Province, one of the greatest guru monks, once said that: the number-one mind with full-hearted trust in Lord Buddha's miracles, the gun will not bang or misfire; the number-two mind, the gun bang but the bullet misses; the number-three mind, the gun bang and the bullet hit the target but never penetrate into the body. So, when you hang Buddha amulets on your neck, you must have faith and trust on the Buddha!! How can I know my amulets are authentic or fake? You must often view the authentic pieces and remember their imprints, mass, and surface. We judge them by their physical appearances, that's the scientiffic way. Can I check them with my intuition? Checking with intuition can do only by a monk or any lay person who has meditative power. But almost all ordinary people don't know who really have this power. So, checking the authenticity or fake of an amulet with an intuition is not accepted in amulet-commerce arena. Can an amulet lose its power? Yes, if the amulet finishes blessing by SaiyaVeja(black magic), it will sooner or later lose its power. But if the amulet finishes by Buddhistic meditative power, it will be there forever. However, one will not be protected even he is hanging amulets but doing evils or improper action. That means the Lord Buddha will not be with him. Does it need to re-blessed an Buddha amulet after hanging for long years? No, no need to do that. But if you have an Buddha amulet on your neck, it's a must to abstain from doing evils. And if you wholeheartedly pay respect to the Buddha as if he is still alive, he will exactly protect you and bless you a great success. Someone says that the Buddha is still alive, is that true? Yes it is, one who says that is presumed that he has a knowledge of the 4th-dimension world which overlaps the world we are now living. I strongly confirm here our Lord Buddha is still alive even he passed away more than 2543 years ago; if not, he cannot protect us. The Lord is at the great grand place call Nipphan Celestial. But the enlightened one can be omnipresent at any place on this universe with unlimited bodies. So he can help every body at the same time. If you really have meditative power, you can meditatively reach there and pay respect to him directly. You will never be convinced on this until you reach there by yourself. Is an expensive amulet better than a cheap one? No, it is not. The Buddha power in an amulet does not depend on the price but on: 1. Who creates it? If the amulet is created by the great guru monk who has Samatha and Wipassana Yana ( the great knowledge on advanced meditation), he could invite Lord Buddha of every epoch and all Arahants to charged the great power onto the amulet. Do you know, a lot of people were saved from fatal accidents just their necks hanged 10 Baht-value (about 25 US Cents) amulets !! So, the rich and the poor are equal to receive protection from our Lord Buddha. 2. How clean and how good-intended on that creation. In the old times, almost all guru monks had very clean and good-intended mind because they aimed at the future-to-be Buddha, so they devoted their lives to help build a lot of facilities in many temples. That means tons of money are needed to buy raw materials for construction, so amulets were created to present to donors as a gift in exchange. The good examples on this are Luang Phor Doem of Wat Nong Pho and Luang Phor Parn of Wat BangNomKho, both Luang Phors helped build more than 30 temples!! At present times, we still have very good guru monks but not as many as in the past. So, if you would like to collect the newly-made amulets, you should have to ask yourself with some of these questions: who create them and do they have advanced meditation knowledge, what for, and who are invited to perform the blessing ritual, etc.

Things to do before wearing Amulets

you have Buddhistic amulets and you have to leave home for business or work, it's not just snapping the chain of amulets and then wear it onto your neck--this is not correct because Thai amulets were finished by great teachers (Luang Phors or LPs) presided by Lord Buddha. Before wearing any amulets, it's a must to put amulets in your hands and chant to pay respect Lord Buddha and Luang Phor(s) who made and blessed those efficacious amulets. These are the sequence:

Step 1) Chant 3 times the salutation Mantra (Namo Mantra) paying respect to our first and greatest Teacher--Lord Buddha: Na Mo Tassa Bhakhawato Arahato Samma Sambudh Tassa Na Mo Tassa Bhakhawato Arahato Samma Sambudh Tassa Na Mo Tassa Bhakhawato Arahato Samma Sambudh Tassa

Step 2) For Luang Phors who made & blessed the amulets you wear on your necks you respect them as your teachers, so you have to pay respect to them by chanting the below Mantra:

NA MO PUT TAA YA


NA MO PUT TAA YA
throughout the ages on earth, there have only been a few occasions when a Samputtajao Buddha has appeared and enlightend himself on this planet Through all the Kalpas of Human History there will be only five Buddhas appearing during the time which the Buddha Sasana exists on Earth.

Faithful believers in the Buddha Sasana created the five syllable root mantra in order to pay reverence to these five Buddhas, namely the Kata Prajao Ha Praongk; ‘Na Mo Put Taa Ya’

The five Buddhas of the five eras are each allocated one syllable of the Kata;

Na = Pra Gugusanto (Chicken symbol)

Mo = Pra Gonaakaamano (Naga serpent symbol)

Put = Pra Gassabo (Kassapa Buddha – Turtle symbol)

Taa = Kodtamo (the present Buddha Sakyamuni – Cow symbol)

His parent were Mr. Hu and Mdm. Chan, a poor couple living in the place of Shrentthi Pan, the wealthy landlord. His parents name their child as PU(meaning crab). One day his parent took PU (still a new born baby) out to the rice field and before going to the field the made a cradle by hanging a cloth between two trees for the child to sleep in. After sometime out in the field working, Chan turned around to check out her baby and to her surprise she saw a large snake curled up around the child cradle. Chan cried loudly in fright and those in the distance as well as Hu quickly rush to check out what was happening. They found out that a snake had curled up around their baby and was observed by others. To their surprise, the snake did not harm their child. With the old belief that this snake might be the Buddha created vision, they prayed to the snake and offered flowers and rice cake. The snake then uncurl itself, spit out a Crystal Translucent Gem and left the child. In astonishment, the baby was still asleep with a crystal gem that emits rainbow colors beside his neck. The crystal gem was properly kept and given back to PU when he was grown up. Even today, the crystal ball is still installed as Wat Phra Kho in Songkla with many stories of its miracles.When PU was seven years old, he was send to stay with Abbot Chuang, his Bikkhu uncle, at Wat Kudi Luang and further his primary school studies there. Then at 15 he was ordained as a novice monk and lived with Phra Khru Saddhammarangsi at Wat Sri Ku-Yang (at present in Ranod, Songkla). At the age of 20, he was ordained as a monk by same as his preceptor. Samiramo the Buddhist name (Chaya) was given to the new monk. Three years of his monkhood under the guidance of Phra Khru Ka Derm, he studied Dhamma and Pali Language till its basic introductory is completed. Later on, he wanted to further his studies of Buddhist scriptures in Ayudhya. After obtaining permission to leave from his preceptor, accompanied by Mr. Inn the passenger ship owner and they left for Ayudhya. Three days after sailing off the open sea, suddenly storm and rough sea starts to rock the boat. The boat had to be anchored till the sea becomes calm before proceeding with their journey again. During this hard times, they had consumes all of the fresh water as well as foods. Out of anger and frustration, other passengers on board including the owner vented their anger by blaming and cursing Bikkhu PU and exclaimed that he had brought to them bad luck and wanted to expel him down from the ship. Then Bikkhu PU rose and others look on, he dipped his foot into the sea to draw a circle. Then he told the sailor to fetch fresh drinking water from the sea from where he had circled with his feet. The sailor then perform what was told and tasted the water himself, after satisfying his doubts and found to be drinkable like normal fresh water. Soon after sufficient fresh water were collected and stored for the rest of the journey, they proceed with their interrupted journey. After realizing the ability of Bikkhu PU, all on board kneeled down to beg their pardon from him, and the owner invited him to use the boat again on his next trip. When arrived to Ayudhya, Mr. In took Bikkhu PU to reside in Wat Khae and offered Nai Chan, his servant to follow Bikkhu PU as his close assistant. After business is done by Mr. In, he left and sailed back to where he had came from. In Ayudhya while Bhikkhu PU had studied Buddhist scriptures at Wat Lumbalinavas. During that time the King of Sri Lanka are challenging with the King of Siam to translate all of the golden alphabets into the Buddhist Scriptures to the correct order within seven days. If all the requested be met and finished in time, the King of Sri Lanka would then give all of the treasures transported in seven boats to the King of Siam as prize. Otherwise the King of Siam will have to pay to the king of Sri Lanka he failed. The King then summoned those learned monks and persons within the capital city a Ayudhya, no one could meet with this challenge. Six days of anxiety of the King had passed. At last it was known that a young Bhikkhu named PU or Samiramo with great abilities, and was summoned to translate all of the golden alphabets into the Buddhist Scriptures to the correct order. The young monk went to the assembly, paying his respect to Maha Sangha and King, then encountered with seven Brahmins from Sri Lanka. Bhikkhu PU started to rearrange the golden seeds into the Dhamma according to Buddhist texts with no difficulties. The 84,000 units of the golden seeds were all used up except seven seeds left missing. They were Sarn (Dhamma-sangani), Vi (Vibhanga), Dha (Dhatukotha), Pu (PUggala-pannatti), Ka (Kathavatthu), Ya (Yamaka) and Pa (Patthana) which are the heart of the seven scriptures of Abhidhamma Pitako. The young monk turned to the seven Brahmins and asked if they had kept the missing golden seeds. When they were given, the complete rearrangement of golden seeds into Buddhist scripture of Abhidhamma was finished on the 7th day, the Brahmins as the Ambassadors of King Sri Lanka had then given all the treasures of 7 boats to the young monk but he turned everything away and gave them all to the King. Being favorite to King Ekadasaroth of Ayudhya with his knowledge and wisdom, Bhikkhu PU had been bestowed upon the Sangha title of "Somdej Phra Rajamuni Samiramagunupamacarya" the most higher rank ever given to any other wondering monk before in the country. Somdej Phra Rajamuni Samiramagunupamacarya or Luang Pu Thuat had stayed in Ayudhya to have advised to the King many ways till his old age and then asked for permission from the King to go back his home town. The King had permitted with a promise to give all the supports requested by Luang Pu Thuat in turns of his virtuous deeds. When Luang Pu Thuat was back to Wat Phra Khoh, he found the Wat mostly ruined and thus sent a message requesting the support to restore the temple to the King. King Ekadasaroth was pleased to respond to Luang Pu Thuat needs, he gave all supports to the said monastery and graciously issued the Royal Degree on Dedication of Land and People of about 250 families nearby Wat Phra Khoh as beneficial temple. The Royal Decree was later successive to Wat Khian possession and given to prince Damrong Rajanubhab in 1913. At present the document was kept in the National Library in Bangkok. Luang Pu Thuat had spent his life spreading the Dhamma for benefiting the people without impartiality. Lastly, he took leave from Wat Phra Khoh along with a young novice to preach Dhamma and helped people at various places in the South up to Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka. His second permanent residence was at Wat Changhai, Pattani. His date of passing away was not certain. Through his supernatural power and miraculous virtues, Luang Pu Thuat manifest through vision and dream seeking to produce the first amulet of him initiated in Wat Changhai 1954. Amulets of Luang Pu Thuat have shown many miracles to individuals carrying it. From there onwards, many batches of his amulet pendants were produced. The popular one’s have been documented in the book titled "Luang Pu Thuat: The Story of His Life and Amulets". Another Miracle Write up. Luong Pu Thuat became famous during the 16th century when he saved the people from draught. There was at that time, not enough drinking water, and the weather deteriorate day after day. According to an account related by villagers, a monk was sighted in a small boat which moving along the river. He was in deep meditation and prayer. After he’d finished chanting, he lowered one of his leg into the river, and within short while, the river is filled with clear, clean drinking water. A miracle had happened. This bit of good news spread throughout the province and to other parts of Thailand. The monk was no other than Luong Pu Thuat himself. The people highly respected and graciously revered him from then on. Phra Acharn Mun,Wat Pa Suthawas, Sakonnakorn (2413-2492) Ajahn Mun Bhuridatta Thera (Thai: มั่น ภูริทตฺโต), 1870-1949, was a Thai Buddhist monk who is credited, along with his mentor, Phra Ajahn Sao Kantasilo Mahathera, with establishing the Thai Forest Tradition (the Kammatthana tradition) that subsequently spread throughout Thailand and to several countries abroad. Ajahn Mun was born on Thursday, January 20, 1870, in a farming village named Baan Kham Bong, Khong Jiam, on the western bank of the Mekong River, in present day Si Mueang Mai District, Ubon Ratchathani Province of northeastern Thailand (Isan). Khong Jiam is located in a triangle of land where the Mun River flows into the Mekong River, as the Mekong turns east and flows into Laos. He was born into the Lao-speaking family of Kanhaew with Nai Kamduang as his father and Nang Jan as his mother. He was the eldest of nine children: eight boys and one girl. Mun was first ordained as a novice monk at age 16, in the local village monastery of Khambong. As a youth, he studied Buddhist teachings, history and folk legends in Khom, Khmer and Tham scripts from fragile palm leaf texts stored in the monastery library. He remained a novice for two years, until 1888, when it was necessary for him to leave the monastery, at his father's request. Ajahn Mun was fully ordained as a monk at age 22, on June 12, 1893, at Wat Liap monastery in the provincial city of Ubon Ratchatani. Venerable Phra Ariyakavi was his preceptor. His announcing teacher was Venerable Phra Kru Prajak Ubolguna. Mun was given the Buddhist name "Bhuridatta" (meaning "blessed with wisdom") at his ordination. After ordination, Mun went to practice meditation with Ajahn Sao of Wat Liap in Ubon, where he learned to practice the monastic traditions of Laos. Ajahn Sao taught Mun a meditation method to calm the mind, the mental repetition of the word, "Buddho." Ajahn Sao often took Ajahn Mun wandering and camping in the dense forests along the Mekong River, where they would practice meditation together. This is known as "thudong" in Thai, a name derived from the term "dhutanga", which describes a number of specialized ascetic practices. One of the first long distance thudong was a pilgrimage to Wat Aranyawaksi in Thabor district, Nong Khai Province. At the time, Wat Aranyawaksi was a ruin, an abandoned, overgrown temple in the jungle. Ajahn Mun spent a year in "illumination" in the teak forest around the temple at this early part of his monastic life. In 1899, Ajahn Mun was re-ordained in the Thammayut Nikaya, a reformed Thai sect which emphasized monastic disciple and scripture study. Having practiced under the guidance of his teacher for several years, and with his teachers blessings, Ajahn Mun went out on his own to search for advanced meditation teachers. During the next several years, he wandered extensively throughout Laos, Thailand and Burma, practicing meditation in secluded forests. Ajahn Mun and Ajahn Sao went on pilgrimage together in 1905 and venerated the Phra That Phanom shrine, a center of Theravada Buddhism for centuries, most sacred to the Lao people. Ajaan Mun's mode of practice was solitary and strict. He followed the Vinaya (monastic discipline) faithfully, and also observed many of what are known as the 13 classic dhutanga (ascetic) practices, such as living off alms, wearing robes made of cast-off rags, dwelling in the forest and eating only one meal a day. Searching out secluded places in the wilds of Thailand and Laos, he avoided the responsibilities of settled monastic life and spent long hours of the day and night in meditation. In spite of his reclusive nature, he attracted a large following of students willing to endure the hardships of forest life in order to study with him. Somdej Phra Puttajarn Toh, Wat Rakang, Bangkok (2319-2415) "Somdej Toh" or His Majesty "SOM-DEJ-PUT-TA-JARN TOH", and His nickname is "Phrom-ma-rung-sri". Somdej Toh is a Abbot(owner) Of "Wat Ra-kang Ko-si-ta-ram" Temple. When Somdej Toh was young, he was so small that his parents name him “Toh” , the opposite of small, to make him Strong and Successful. He was entered the monkshood since he was young. Somdej Toh had never involved in any material world. When Somdej Toh grew up, he was ordained. Many people paid high respect to him even the Thailand's King RAMA. Somdej Toh wandered around with one objective of nourishing and spreading the Buddhism until he was passed away on 85 years old (Around 130 years ago). Somdej Toh's amulets were recognized as the best of Thai amulets since there are uncountable, miraculous events, regarding to the amulets. The amulets are believed to ward off dangers, bring luck and success in life. Some says that Somdej Toh's Amulet is the world emperor of Thai amulets. Luang Pu Toh, Wat Pradoochimplee, Bangkok (BE2430-2524) Pra Raht SangWaLahPiMon or Luang Pu Toh ITatSuWanNon was born on 27th March BE2430 at Bahn Klorng Nahng Noi, Jangwat SaMutSongKrahm (near Bangkok). Luang Pu Toh became a novice since he was young at Wat PraDooChimPlee. At that time, Pra ATitGahnKum was the abbot of Wat PraDooChimPlee. Luang Pu Toh studied dhamma under Pra Ah Jahn Prom from Wat PraDooChimPlee. When Luang Pu Toh was 20 years of age, he was ordained as a monk on 16th July BE2450 by PraKru SamMaNaTamSaMahTahn (Saeng) from Wat PakNam. PraKru ArGatRahNuSit (Porng) Wat NuaNooRaDit and PraKru TamMaWiRat (Chei) Wat GumPaeng were the receptors. After Pra Ah Jahn Prom passed away, Luang Pu Toh went to study dhamma under Luang Por Rong Wat TahGraBeua at SaMuSahKon Province. Sometime later, he went Tudong to many forested places in Northern Thailand, spending many rain retreats there. Luang Pu Toh returned to Bangkok and became the abbot of Wat PraDooChimPlee. He got to know Luang Por Sod, Wat PakNam and they became close friends. Some time later, Luang Por Sod accompanied Luang Pu Toh to learn under the very famous Pra Ah Jahn Nohng at SuPhanBuri Province. After studying under Ah Jahn Nohng for many years, Luang Pu Toh returned to Bangkok. Luang Pu Toh was very popular and highly respected in Bangkok. Whenever there were any ceremony such chanting of amulets, celebration, fund raising etc, Luang Pu Toh would always be invited, because when people heard about Luang Poo Toh's name, they would come to support the ceremony as well. As such, Luang Pu Toh was involved in many mass chanting of amulets such as Pra Somdej Luang Por Pae Roon Rahk chanting at Wat Suthat in BE2494, 25 Puttawat chanting in BE2500, Pra Luang Poo Thuat chanting at Wat Prasat in BE2506B, Pra Somdej 09 chanting at Wat Bahn Koon Prom in BE2509, Pra Somdej Roy Pee chanting at Wat Rakang in BE2515 etc. Beside the lay people, the 9th or the present King of Thailand and the royal family respected Luang Pu Toh very much too. One can see from many photographs of the royal family had taken with Luang Pu Toh. In BE2463, Luang Pu chanted the first batch of powder (Neua Phong ) amulets. The most popular Pim from this batch is the Pra Somdej KaToh , which is very rare and expensive now. Since that time, Luang Pu Toh continue to chant many batches of amulets of many types, such as Pra Pidta, Somdej, Roop Meuan and Rians etc. All Luang Pu Toh's amulets are very well-proven to be able to protect people from accidents and hardship. Luang Pu Toh passed away on 5th April BE2524 at the age of 93 years old. Luang Phor Ngern, Wat Bang Klan, Pichit (BE2353-2462) Luang Phor Ngern was name "NGERN" or meaning Money. He was born on Friday 16-sep-1810 at Pi-Jit province,Thailand. He was entered the monk priesthood since age is 12 years. Until years 1837 he want to built new temple in his village and on next years he starting to build "Wat Bang Klan" temple for spreading the Buddhism. He die on years 1919 when he is 109 years Old. Luang Phor Ngern is in a top 5 famous monk of thailand. All of his amulet was have many good experience!!! His amulet was started build on he 60 years old . All items was bless long time by himself. The famous Amulet of Luang Phor Ngern is "Loop Lor" or meaning small Bronze figure , "Jobe" or meaning Bronze Coin, some of his amulet was put in stupa of many temples until now. His amulet "Loop Lor" have 2 series called "Pim Ni-Yom" and "Pim Ki-Ta" , "Jobe Coin " also have 2 series that is "Pim Yai (Big size)" and "Pim Lak (small size) And after he die every years this "Wat Bang Klan" temple will replica his amulet and invite famous monk around thailand that time to blessed an amulet. now that have famous replica is series 2515(build on year 1972), series2525(build on year 1982) ,series2535(build on year 1992), series "Fa-Kum-Lon"(build on year 1983) and series "Peen Tak"(build on year 1985)

The Protection Stanzas of the Victorious One

(1.Those Buddhas who defeated the Mara and his hosts, were the most brave, sublime, sublime, noble and mightiest of men who had sipped the immortal taste of the Four Noble Truths.)



2.Tanhankaradayo Buddhaa Atthaviisatinaayakaa Sabbe patitthitaa mayhang Matthake te munissaraa.

(5.Likewise, may Aananda and Raahula dwell at my right ear, and at my left ear dwell Kassapa and Mahaanaama.)



6.Kesato pitthibhaagasming Suriyo va pabhankaro Nisinno sirisampanno Sobhito munipungavo.

(6.May the mighty sage, Sobhita, seated in all his glory, like the blazing sun, dwell upon every hair-tip on my back.)



7.Kumaarakassapo thero Magesii cittavaadako Mahesii cittavaadako So mayhang vadane niccang Patitthaasi gunaakaro.

(7.May Kumaara Kassapa Thera, one who seeks the greatest virtues, commands fine speech and is the spring of fine virtues, always be the dwelling guardian of my mouth.)



8.Punno Angulimaalo ca Upaalii Nanda Siivalii Theraa panca ime jaataa Nalaate tilakaa mama.

(8.May these five Elders : Punna Thera, Angulimaala Thera, Upaali Thera, Nanda Thera and Siivalii Thera, be just like the auspicious marking anointed on my forehead.)

9.Sesaasiiti mahaatheraa Vijitaa jinasaavakaa Etesiti mahaatheraa Jitavanto jinorasaa Angamanggesu santhitaa.

(9.May all the rest of the eighty great disciples and sons of the Buddha, the Victorious One, who have defeated all their defilements and prosper by the moral disciplines they adhere to, condescend in to be with me all the minor and major organs of mine.)



10.Ratanang purato aasi Dakkhine mettasuttakang Dgajaggang pacchato aasi Vaame Angulimaalakang.

(10.May the Ratana Sutta be remained to my front, may the Metta Sutta be at my right side, may the Dhajagga Sutta be remained at the back and may the Angulimaala Sutta be remained at my left.)

11.Khandhamoraparittanca Aataanaatiyasuttakang Aakaase chadanang aasi Sesaa paakaarasanthitaa.

(11.The khandha Paritta, Mora Paritta, Aaataanaaiya paritta and the rest From a sheltering frame for me, Just like the canopy above or the wall around me. )

12.Jinaanaavarasangyuttaa Sattappaakaaralankataa Vaatapittaadisanjaataa Baahirajjhattupaddavaa.

(12.May the sublime Dhamma which is the power of the Victorious One be adorned upon me just like a seven-layer wall protecting me from all outside and inside dangers or perils which may arise from whatever natural causes, wind or bile so that there will be none of these dangers remain.)



13.Asesaa vinayang yantu Anantajanatejasaa Vasato me sakiccena Sadaa sambuddhapanjare.

(13.Let all the remaining illness be got rid of by the power of the Victorious One whose virtues are endless, all throughout the time when I still observe the moral disciplines of such a moral person like, for example, the Buddha.)

14.Jinapanjaramajjhamhi Viharantang mahitale Sadaa paalentu mang sabbe Te mahaapurisaa sabhaa.

(14.May all those great and brave Noble Ones who live in the midst of the Victorious One on this earth protect and guard me.)



15.Iccevamanto Sugutto surakkho Jinaanubhaavena jitupaddavo Dhammaanubhaavena Jitaarisango Sanghaanubhaavena jitantaraayo Saddhammaanubhaavapaalito Caraami jinapanjareti.

(15.Indeed, thus am I well protected as all the distresses have been rid of by the Victorious One; so may whatever potential dangers there may be in the future, be eliminated by the power of the Buddha and the Sangha and may the same power of the truth of Dhamma protect and guide me that I may live and thrive on the path of the Victorious One.

Kata for Jatukam Ramatep

The Kata to chant before putting on your Jatukam Ramatep amulet each day is always preceded (as are all katas), with the praise to the Buddha;

"Namo Dtassa Pakawadto Arahadto Sammaaa Samputtassa" (always chant this 3 times) with the Jatukam amulet between your praying hands, above your head, and then hold it to your forehead and ask Jatukam to watch over you, lend you respect from others, protect from dangers, increase your wealth and power/influence or whatver requests you have. Forbidden to request anything which might harm other beings, for Jatukam is a Bodhisattwa (Compassionate Deva).Face the South when doing this and you will succeed in your strivings.Traditionally, you can paint color on your Jatukam but it is forbidden to paint red color - at best is to color him ocean blue like the sea, for he protects the seas and seafarers too, and is guardian of the Ocean. Chant the kata beelow whilst holding the amulet to your forehead.

It is in Thai/pali. When u want to wear the amulet, follow these basic steps (valid for all amulets) - Put your amulets onto your hands, join your hands together - Then chant 3 times, " NA MO TAS SA PHA KHA WA TO A RA HA TO SAM MA SAM BUDH TAS SA" - Then request with your own language, "I, a humble one, invite [name(s)] to sit on my head to protect me all day long and bring me a good luck, a victory, and a fulfilment of all my wishes." (in this case "name" = Jatukam) - Then say " Bud Dhang Pra Sit Thi Mae Dham Mang Pra Sit Thi Mae Sang khang Pra Sit Thi Mae." If you are not wearing the amulet and you just want to chant then follow these steps. - Put your amulets onto your hands, join your hands together - Then chant 3 times, " NA MO TAS SA PHA KHA WA TO A RA HA TO SAM MA SAM BUDH TAS SA" - Follow by "Ja tu kam Ra ma tay wa Ma Ma Na mo pu ta ya"

Simple steps. This is the process regardless what your Jatukam amulet looks like, or where exactly it came from. The prayer is the same all over Thailand - and so is the same for you. Put the amulet between your two hands in a wai (prayer) position. Say, NA MO TA SA PHA KHA WA TO A RA HA TO SAM MA SAM BUDH TA SA In English, or your native language if not English, say, "I, a humble person, invite Jatukam Ramathep to sit firmly on my head to give me protection from this day forward and bring me favorable luck, wins, and fulfillment of my wishes when aligned with my karma. Say, Bu Dang Pra Sit Thee Mae Dham Mang Pra Sit Thee Mae Sang khang Pra Sit Thee Mae. If you will not be wearing the amulet around your neck (must be on a high place on your body, not in your pocket). Just follow the top steps in Pali.
